EMPLOYEE SAFETY TRAINING PROGRAM

BULLDOG SAFETY SERVICES, LLC

ISNetworld database system:   Swan Marine Operators, LLC (CREWBOATS) was given the highest "A" rating by a major oil company in February 2008 in the ISNetworld database system.  To earn this top rating Swan Marine Operators has operated for at least the last three years with a TRIR of 0.0, a superior safety record. 

Safety Training Program:  All Swan Captains and Crew are certified through attending lectures and passing testing in the SafeGulf Program.  All information taught is consistent with the requirements set forth by agencies such as LaDEQ, OSHA, DOT, and etc.   Programs use the Defensive Driving Behavior Base Safety modes.  All personnel are taught and certified in 23 different modules including but not limited to:

Incident reporting,

Accident Prevention,

Signs and Tags,

Hand Safety,

Back Injury prevention,

Behavioral Safety Awareness,

HAZCOM, HAZCOM labeling systems

Hazpower Awareness, 

Drug and Alcohol Awareness, 

Lockout/Tagout,

PPE including Levels (Personal Protective Eqp.),

DOT Placards (Department of Transportation),

Electrical Safety,

Fall Protection,

Slips, Trips and Falls,

Offshore Orientation,

Heat/Cold Stress,

Fire Extinguisher Usage,

Hearing Conservation,

JSA (Job Safety Analysis),

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets),

Respiratory Protection,

H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide Gas Presence),

Confirmed Space Awareness,

Safe-Gulf.

 

 

 

 

Expert Crew:  All of our Crewboat Captains and Crew Members are very experienced, well trained and certified.  Department of Transportation and U.S. Coast Guard guidelines are strictly followed in the hiring, drug testing and safety education of our personnel.

Safety:  We are very proud to have achieved top grade "A" safety ratings based on information in the ISNetworld System regarding our fleet of crewboats.   

 

Swan Marine Operators, LLC  has worked extensively with noted safety consultant Lamar Hutchinson of Bulldog Safety Services, LLC to develop and implement a superb, industry 'gold standard', safety program for our crewboats.
